Azman Perfumes is an Emirati luxury fragrance house founded in Dubai by Husen Baba. The name Azman refers to “hours” or “moments” in Arabic, reflecting a collection conceived around memory, emotion and the passage of time.
The brand combines the richness of Middle Eastern perfumery with a contemporary and unconventional approach. Oud, amber, woods, spices, florals and animalic nuances are treated with freedom, creating compositions that move beyond the traditional image of oriental fragrance.
Rather than building every perfume around the same recognisable formula, Azman explores different atmospheres and personalities. Some creations are dark, dense and meditative; others are warmer, more sensual or unexpectedly luminous.
A CONTEMPORARY INTERPRETATION OF OUD
Oud occupies an important place within the Azman universe, but it is rarely presented in a predictable way.
It may be combined with florals, leather, fruits, smoke, coffee, resins or woods, revealing different facets depending on the composition. In some fragrances it feels polished and enveloping; in others it becomes darker, more textured and deliberately provocative.
This approach allows Azman to reinterpret an emblematic material of Middle Eastern perfumery through a more international and contemporary language. The result is not a collection based simply on intensity, but on contrast, evolution and olfactory texture.
The perfumes often reveal themselves gradually on the skin. Bright or aromatic openings may give way to warmer woods, balsamic notes, spices and deeper accords. This development makes the fragrances particularly interesting to experience over time rather than judging them only from the first spray.

The house also collaborates with internationally recognised perfumers. Majnoon, created with Prin Lomros, combines elements such as pomegranate, coffee, rose and jasmine in a complex composition that shifts between fruity brightness, floral depth and roasted warmth.
The collection includes fragrances that feel intimate and close to the skin, alongside more expansive creations with stronger projection and a more dramatic trail. This variety makes Azman difficult to reduce to a single style: each perfume is designed as an independent olfactory experience.

The opening provides only the first impression. As the composition develops, spices soften, florals gain depth, woods become warmer and heavier materials begin to emerge. Skin temperature and individual chemistry can significantly influence the balance between the different notes.
For this reason, two people may perceive the same fragrance differently. A composition that feels smoky and woody on one person may reveal more floral, fruity or balsamic nuances on another.
