Founded in 1643, Trudon is the oldest candlemaker in the world still in activity and one of the most historic fragrance houses in France.
The Maison began in Paris when Claude Trudon opened a shop selling candles and wax. Over time, the brand became the official supplier of candles to the French royal court and to many of the country’s great churches, including those serving Louis XIV and the court of Versailles.
Today Trudon continues this legacy through a collection of luxurious scented candles, home fragrances, and perfumes that combine French craftsmanship with contemporary perfumery. The iconic green glass vessels and gold emblem have become a signature of the brand, reflecting centuries of heritage and refinement.
At The Perfumery in Lugano, Trudon represents the meeting point between history, craftsmanship, and scent—bringing the atmosphere of a legendary French maison into the modern home.
